Watercolor lettering in Procreate & Practice Sheet

Sharing is caring!

I love watercolor! Whether it’s on paper or digital, watercolor is so beautiful! This video is about watercolor lettering in Procreate. Don’t forget to grab your free practice sheet and start using it in Procreate today! The link is below the video.

The brush I used is available for free in the freebie library. You’ll also find the color swatch I used in this video, and the watercolor paper. Not signed up yet? You can use the form below.

For this technique, make sure to add a layer above the watercolor paper & set it to “linear burn”. This is what allows the texture of the paper to come through. You’ll also want to play around with adding color with the soft airbrush and blending.

I’m so excited for you to use this brush & I’d love to see what you create! Tag me on instagram @lilliebelles!

It’ll be easier if you use your iPad to download the practice sheet. Here’s what you’ll need to do:

  • Click the button above to download the practice sheet
  • Save the image to your camera roll.
  • Open the Procreate app & choose “Photo” in the top right corner.
  • Select the photo from your camera roll.
  • Add a new layer above the photo layer so you don’t write directly on that layer.
  • Practice away!
