Learn how to make a pretty watercolor background in procreate. Add some beachy lettering, and you have the perfect project!

For the watercolor paper, I used a photo that I took with my phone. I used one of the brushes that came with the procreate app for the background – you’ll find it under “Water”, and it’s called “Wash”. Make sure you set the layer for the background to linear burn, so you can get the nice texture of the paper to show through. For the “beach” lettering, I used my hand lettering brush, which is available in the freebie library for my subscribers. If you haven’t subscribed yet, you can do so below the video.

Enjoy!
